    Chicken in Mushroom Sauce

    Step1

    Cut the chicken breasts into smaller pieces and season with salt and pepper to taste.

    In a deep skillet, heat one tablespoon of olive oil and one tablespoon of butter. Add the chicken pieces and sauté until they turn golden brown on all sides. Remove them from the pan and set aside.

    In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of butter and chopped onion. Sauté the onion until it becomes soft and translucent.

    Add chopped garlic and sauté for an additional minute.

    Slice the mushrooms into thin slices and add them to the pan. Sauté until the mushrooms soften and release their juices.

    Pour in the white wine and cook until it reduces by half.

    Return the chicken pieces to the pan, add the cooking cream, and mix well.

    Reduce the heat and simmer for a few more minutes until the sauce thickens.

    Serve the chicken in mushroom sauce, garnish with fresh parsley, and enjoy!
